While they are not entirely changing their approach to filling this critical role, they have now decided to consider candidates who live in the Los Angeles Area but might be too far for a daily commute. In this case, a flexible work arrangement may be created. In another scenario, this company is now open to considering candidates who would make a physical move (relocation) to Los Angeles but they will only be considering candidates who have solid reasons to live in Los Angeles. The successful candidate will conduct security and risk assessments, propose security initiatives, suggest protection standards and will oversee and coordinate security efforts across the business. The successful candidate will work with various outside entities (Law Enforcement, FBI, MPAA, etc.) and will collaborate with all relevant departments such as Information Technology, Human Resources, Communications, Legal and Operations. The successful candidate will craft, influence and direct an organization-wide protection strategy. In addition, the successful candidate will stay abreast of increasing and changing regulatory compliance mandates and will keep the company apprised and responsive to the changing risks facing the organization. This role interfaces with and influences business leaders and other senior executives from the CEO on down. This role does not initiall have any direct staff responsibility but is positioned more as an advisory role working across many operating divisions in North America. The successful candidate will be capable of influencing decision makers through the use of effective verbal and written presentation skills. A more comprehensive job description will be provided to candidates of interest.
