We have been retained by a fast-growing Information Security Professional Services Firm to identify a seasoned, driven, highly skilled consulting solutions sales professional. Our client's firm is led by a seasoned Information Security Professional Services Consultant who spent a significant amount of time leading major security engagements worldwide for one of the world's largest professional services firms. In this position, you will be selling this firm's security consulting services as well as select partner's security products. You'll use a consultative solution selling style to identify need and to sell customized solutions that satisfy the unique security challenges of each client. This firm's areas of expertise include Network Security, System Security, Identity Management, Application Security, Regulatory Compliance issues and more. You will have a significant impact on our client's growth while simultaneously stepping into an opportunity that has no earnings cap. This firm currently has approximately 20 employees. This is the company's first sales position. The right candidate will be a "hunter" producer who also has the ability and aspiration to build a sales organization in the near-future. Full-time marketing talent has recently been added to this firm. Sales engineering support will support your selling efforts. You simply have to add the energy, drive and expertise necessary to book consulting engagements and to sell product that is most appropriate to the client's needs. This company ahs no proprietary product of their own. If being part of building a company is something that motivates you, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for. Expect travel in the 50% range. Travel could be more or less depending on the flavor of business you choose to capture. You'll work from a home office when you're not at a client site. This company regularly competes with and wins out against the Big 4 firms as well as 2nd tier national consulting firms and small boutique security consulting firms.
It is preferred that you have a BA/BS or even an advanced degree at the Masters level. You'll demonstrate 3-5+ years experience selling technology solutions. It is strongly preferred that your sales background include the sale of Information Security consulting services and Information Security product but a background in selling any kind of technology professional services solutions will be considered. This is not an entry-level role so you'll have to demonstrate a sales track record of progressively meeting sales targets. You'll have high energy, exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills and will be capable of managing your own time, schedule and deliverables. You will demonstrate significant experience selling to "C" level decision makers and department leaders who have authority to make buying decisions. To maximize this opportunity, you'll bring prior management experience along with your "hunter" mindset. You'll be willing to step into a relationship with a sales coach who will push you to peak performance. This company isn't fooling around with the hire until someone sticks model. We've been asked to find the right person who will be the present and future leader of this organization's sales efforts.
